The result seems to be children who are at a loss when there’s a half hour gap in their schedule and a generation of permanently frazzled parents. What happens when world-renowned advocate for changing the pace of parenting, Carl Honoré, enters three Australian family homes where gadgets rule and fast is the only speed? He unplugs the kids and adults. He throws out their schedules and replaces the race with a journey.
