Descripción del vídeo:

This ipad app concept was created in two days and won the recent care appathon organised by alive mobile.

The winning team comprising of Simon Bertrand & Clément Breuille, worked tirelessly with benevolent society, an organisation who look after children who have been removed abruptly from their families and placed in foster homes. The pair did an incredible job of analysing the brief and proposing the above solution which will give children the tools to help them easily express their thoughts and feelings.
What makes the app amazing is that it allows kids to create their own avatar and customise and personalise it any way they want. In this way the child deeply connects and relates to their new virtual friend and express their own thoughts and feelings through disassociation so the various case workers can get a consistent understanding and sense of what the child is internally going through, during their transitions between multiple foster homes.
They managed to create a specific language between the children and the character to allow the case manager to be able to understand any troubles and fears the children may be experiencing. The interactions with the character spark conversations via activities, questions, actions. play acting and games.
